Meet Casey, Hygienist in Avalon Dental Somerville

Casey is our new dental hygienist in Avalon Dental Office in Somerville, MA.

Originally from Louisiana, Casey moved to the Boston area in 2015. Her interest in dental hygiene began in her previous profession as a veterinary assistant that specialized in dental cleanings. She decided that she would like to work on humans and thus began the arduous journey to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is a graduate of Middlesex Community College.

Casey loves spending her spare time with her husband and two cats. She also enjoys binge watching television shows and reading. She is slowly eating her way across Boston, trying new restaurants every chance that she gets. To burn off all of the calories from the restaurants, Casey often goes hiking. She loves the New England geography and always tries to get to the highest point possible to take in the view.

Casey is a preventive oral health professional who not only performs dental cleanings but screens the patient for any oral diseases or other abnormalities.
