Every year in April Boston welcomes thousands of marathoners, athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Boston Marathon is a widely recognized event all across the world.

But April's third Monday is also a state holiday - Patriots' Day celebrated in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Wisconsin.
